Not close enough for new Snoqualmie community center

Early election results on Wednesday, Nov. 5, showed the Snoqualmie community center bond with a decent majority of votes, but not enough to put it over the 60 percent supermajority requirement.

As of 2 a.m. Wednesday, the bond had 916 "yes" votes, or 52.6 percent, and 825 "no" votes, or 47 percent.

Election counts will continue over the next several weeks, with final results posting on Tuesday, Nov. 25.
