The proposed transfer of Fall City Park to Snoqualmie Tribe ownership continues to move ahead.

The King County Department of Natural Resources and Parks last month released its determination that the transfer will not impact the environment. A 14-day public comment period on the transfer ends at 4:30 p.m. today. E-mail comments will be received until close of business at kathy.nygard@kingcounty.gov.

Once the county responds to any comments received, King County Executive Ron Sims will have the authority to send the transfer for consideration by the King County Council.

Public hearings could follow as the county council deliberates the matter.
