Two Rivers School Principal Tom Athanases and current staff welcomed back former Two Rivers students and teachers to celebrate the school's 20th anniversary Saturday, May 26.

Two Rivers, Snoqualmie Valley School District's secondary choice school, opened in 1987 at Mount Si High School.

The school was in a building on Boalch Avenue for eight years before moving to its current location, 330 Ballarat Ave. N., in North Bend across from the library.

Secondary-choice schools offer an alternative to larger, conventional high schools or middle schools.
