Snoqualmie makes jail deal

The Snoqualmie City Council recently voted to put plans to house inmates in Yakima County's new jail back on track.

After filing a claim for breach of contract against Yakima County last fall, the council approved a settlement agreement involving the Yakima jail and dozens of King County cities during its May 29 regular meeting.
