Snoqualmie siren to get new life downtown
October 2, 2008 · Updated 3:57 PM
Snoqualmie's signature noon siren has a new home and is closer than ever to sounding again.
The siren, which last sounded May 9 at the now-demolished former fire hall on River Street, is posted prominently atop Mignone Interiors, a downtown business owned by Kristi Wood.
Wood had it installed on her building July 17.
Plans call for the siren to start sounding the noon whistle again when a new clock is installed.
