The first day of school for Snoqualmie Valley students is Wednesday, Sept. 5, for grades first through 12th, and Monday, Sept. 10, for kindergartners.

All school offices opened the last week of August. Elementary, middle- and high-school students visit their assigned school to obtain the correct paperwork and proper counseling. Transfer students are required to produce proof of immunizations.

Expecting to educate more students than ever, Snoqualmie Valley School District has hired 56 new teaching and professional staff for the 2007/2008 school year, including 22 teachers in entirely new positions created due to growth.(p)
