Man dies in Fall City head-on

A 49-year-old Fall City man died from injuries sustained in a two-car collison Sunday, Aug. 26.

According to the King County Sheriff's Office, the crash was reported at 7:32 p.m. in the 4500 block of the Preston-Fall City Road.

The wreck involved a 2006 Ford F150 pickup, driven by a 72-year-old Tacoma man, crossing the center lane and colliding with a 1994 Ford Escort station wagon, driven by Fall City resident Loran Gregory. Gregory was transferred to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle and later died of his injuries, according to the King County Medical Examiner's Office. The Tacoma man was taken to Swedish Medical Center's Issaquah clinic.
