New aid car for Snoqualmie F.D.
October 2, 2008 · Updated 3:54 PM
Using their muscle to push a new aid car into its new home, crew members of the Snoqualmie Fire Department held an informal ceremony for the latest addition to their vehicle fleet.
The group effort is a station tradition, Snoqualmie Fire Chief Bob Rowe said.
The 2006 Braun Northstar aid car replaces an older, bigger aid car that was known for its rough ride. The new vehicle will be the first-response car from the station; the first aid car on scene when a Snoqualmie resident calls for help. An older aid car will serve as backup.
The new aid car has four-wheel-drive and seats three responders and one patient.
