U.S. Rep. Dave Reichert helps get $2 million for Valley

Eighth District Con-gressman Dave Reichert joined Snoqualmie Mayor Matt Larson and North Bend Mayor Ken Hearing in downtown Snoqualmie Monday, Oct. 8, to announce grant funds meant to improve both cities.
Snoqualmie and North Bend were together awarded $2 million in grants from the federal Economic Development Administration. Sno-qualmie received $1.4 million of the grant for economic development, which will be combined with local matching dollars to move forward with a $3.2 million downtown revitalization project. North Bend gets $600,000 to build water infrastructure.
