The pano-ramic view of the Cascades, Mount Si and the Valley from Snoqualmie Point Park is stunning.

The park will be a major attraction in the 100-mile Mountains to Sound Greenway along Interstate 90.

The city park was dedicated Saturday, Oct. 27, after years of work. Speakers at the dedication included public and private leaders of the effort to save the park from development, including former Sen. Slade Gorton, Greenway Trust President Jim Ellis, state Rep. Fred Jarrett and philanthropist Bill Gates Sr. Snoqualmie Mayor Matt Larson hosted the opening ceremony.
