Tour set at Snoqualmie public works facilities

A public tour of the City of Snoqualmie Public Works facilities will be offered on Wednesday, May 21. It will be led by Kirk Holmes, public works department director, and Mike Roy, operations manager. The tour will start at 7 p.m. and will last approximately 90 minutes.
The guided tour will include visits to the city's water treatment facility, waste water treatment and reclamation plant, fleet maintenance shop, street division facility, and state-of-the-art water pump station. Tour participants will learn about waste water and storm water collection systems and how they operate within the city.
Reservations are required and can be made by calling (425) 831-4919. Space is limited to 30 people.
Participants will meet at the parking lot of the Snoqualmie Fire Station, located at 37600 S.E. Snoqualmie Parkway.
