99.48% of the votes have been counted and 12.84% or the registered voters in the county voted.

There is likely still absentee votes to be counted over the next several days

In the county-side race, David Irons Jr. is beating incumbent Brian Derdowski 7009 votes to 6447 with Irons getting 52.09% and Derdowski getting 47.91%. If the results stay consistent then District 12 will have a new King County Councilmember.

For the Snoqualmie City Council race, position 4, Carol Peterson is leading with 101 votes. Marcia Korich-Vega is second with 69 votes and incumbent Al Nicholas has 26 votes. This will pit Peterson against Korich-Vega in the November election.

In Carnation, the Police Levy is failing due to voter turnout but is passing per the numbers with 115 votes yes and 82 votes no. The measure has to pass by a 60% margin.

The Fire District 38 Levy Lid Lift was soundly defeated as 364 votes said yes to the lift and 625 votes said no. This measure will likely be on the November ballot again.
