Final Election Results

The King County Records and Elections Division released the

final count of the Sept. 14 primary on Friday, Sept. 24. The

primary winners will face off in the general election on Nov. 2.

Snoqualmie - City Council Position No. 4

Carol R. Peterson 139 52.26%

Marcia Korich-Vega 95 35.71%

Alfred D. Nicholas 32 12.03%

Carnation - Proposition No. 1, Police Protection Excess levy

Yes 148 57.36%

No 110 42.64%

NOTE: Total voter turnout was only 26.37%; therefore, the

levy failed.

Fire District 38 Proposition No. 1

Yes 560 37.58%

No 930 62.42%
