Educational grants available

The Riverview Educational Foundation (REF) will award

educational grants in January 2000 for innovative projects that enhance the learning

of Riverview students.

Projects can be developed by teachers, staff, students or

community members and must be sponsored through a Riverview School.

Individual classrooms can receive up to $500. Grant applications are

being accepted through Jan. 12.

REF grant applications and criteria are available at all

Riverview schools, from the district's Web site at www.riverview.wednet.edu

(click on information), or by writing P.O. Box 62, Carnation, WA 98014.
