Schools to hold computer classes

The Snoqualmie Valley School District is offering several

computer courses for the community. All classes will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Cost

is $20 per class.

Microsoft Word - this is a word processing program that can be

used to create and design documents such as letters and memos. Word 1A

will be held on Jan. 11 and Word 1B is on Jan. 13 at Mount Si High.

PowerPoint - this is a presentation/slide show program and is

recommended for people who have a basic knowledge of Windows 98

and Microsoft Word. PowerPoint 1A will be held on Jan. 10 and PowerPoint

1B is on Jan. 12 at Chief Kanim Middle School.

Graphics - this class covers the basics of using a scanner, digital

camera and video capture devices. Graphics 1A is offered on Jan. 11 and

Graphics 1B is on Jan. 13 at Chief Kanim Middle School.

Internet Explorer - learn to explore the World Wide Web on Jan. 11

at Mount Si High.
