Performing Arts Center levy

The two-year, $210,000 levy would be used to purchase the

following equipment to complete the center:

Stage rigging and drapery — $82,000 — add 10

counterweight linesets and a complete drapery setting with stage drapes and a full

stage seamless cyclorama (a curtain used to convey the impression of an

unlimited amount of space).

Motorized projection screen — $4,800 — a 15-by-20 screen

with matte white projection surface, control stations and back drop material

to properly position viewing area.

Stage lighting devices — $6,000 — add two electric conduits

onstage as well as plug boxes in the stage floor.

Stage dimming and control — $29,000 — add full-sized

performance lighting dimmer track; convert existing dimmers to control

worklights, non-dims and houselighting; add flexibility for stage lighting control;

add stage manager's control station.

Stage lighting instruments and

accessories — $28,500 — add complete inventory of stage lighting instruments including cables,

adapters and more.

Storage — $14,700 — provide portable storage for drama equipment.

Tax, installation and contingency — $45,000.
