Snoqualmie Ridge phase two hearings begin
October 2, 2008 · Updated 1:09 PM
SNOQUALMIE - The residents of Snoqualmie can recommend what Quadrant Corporation should look at when it studies the effects the second phase of the Snoqualmie Ridge development will have on the area.
On Friday, Nov. 8, the city started to receive public comment that will help determine what the developer should study as it prepares a Draft Environmental Impact Study (DEIS) that is due in February of 2003. That report will be followed by a Final Environmental Impact Study in April 2003.
Suggestions for what the DEIS should investigate, which includes everything from ground water to regional employment, have to be made in writing to the city no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 29. There will also be an opportunity for verbal comments at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 26, during a meeting at the Snoqualmie Fire Hall at 39624 River Street.
