Man arrested in Fall City child molestation case

FALL CITY - A man was arrested last week in North Bend after a family he had been staying with in Fall City evicted him and reported him to police for molesting two children.

Michael Parker Priestman, 26, was arrested on March 19 and charged with first-degree child rape and molestation.

Charging papers from the King County Prosecutor's Office state Priestman started living with a family in Fall City earlier this year and sleeping in the same room with the family's 8-year-old boy. In the early morning hours of March 19, the boy walked into a bathroom his mother was in, crying and said that Priestman had fondled him. The mother confronted Priestman and told him to leave. The mother then woke up her 3-year-old daughter, who had been acting strangely ever since Priestman had started staying with the family, and asked her if she had been inappropriately touched by Priestman. The girl said yes and started crying.
