NORTH BEND - King County Sheriff's Office officials are still looking for a man who held up a Shell gas station east of North Bend last week.

At 5:40 p.m. on March 9, a man walked into the Shell at 14420 468th Ave. in the TravelCenters of America at Seattle East complex. The man had one hand in his pocket and told the cashier he had a gun before demanding money. The cashier gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash and the man left on foot.

King County Sheriff's deputies were called and a search was initiated with a helicopter, but the man could not be found.

King County Sheriff spokesperson Sgt. John Urquhart said the suspect was a 6-foot tall, 27-year-old, slender, white male who wore a white baseball cap, dark sunglasses, a blue hooded sweatshirt and dark cargo pants.
