Ballot set for 2004 election season

KING COUNTY - The stage is set for the election season as King County officially closed its candidate filing period last week.

This fall Valley voters will hit the polls to decide several races, including the state Legislature, governor and attorney general.

Here's a quick look at the filings for the larger statewide races and those local contests that will find several incumbents trying to fend off a slate of challengers.
