Students practice water rescue

A group of middle-school students, including several from Chief Kanim Middle School, participated in Wave Trek, a three-day water safety and training program for young people earlier this month. The students learned the fundamentals of hydrology and ropes mechanical systems through hands-on training in the Snoqualmie River.
