North Bend to make zoning changes

A public hearing will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, at the Mount Si Senior Center to receive comments on proposed revisions to the city's zoning code and zoning map. This is the first of two dates scheduled to discuss the changes and their adoption. The second meeting will take place at at the senior center at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 2.
Comments received by March 21 will be considered by the Planning Commission in formulating its recommendations to the City Council. Comments received by May 2 will be considered by the council in making its final decision.
A full copy of North Bend's 2005 Comprehensive Plan, along with the proposed zoning changes, may be viewed at http://ci.north-bend.wa.us. Information may also be obtained from the Community Service Office at 126 E. Fourth St., or by calling (425) 888-5633. The Mount Si Senior Center is located at 411 Main Ave. S., North Bend.
