Warrant issued for missing pilot

An arrest warrant has been issued by a Pierce County judge for the 53-year-old Snoqualmie man who went missing two weeks ago when his plane disappeared over the Cascade Mountains.

Valley resident George Trupp was aboard a single-engine Cessna 177 that disappeared from radar near Chinook Pass on May 22. Trupp had been scheduled to appear this past Wednesday, May 30, in Pierce County Superior Court in Tacoma on a charge of indecent liberties with forcible compulsion.
