Fire union settles with Snoqualmie

Last Monday, June 11, the Snoqualmie City Council unanimously approved a collective bargaining agreement with International Association of Firefighters Local 4028.
The contract has already been ratified by the firefighter's union. It is retroactive to the end of the last contract, so it will be up for renegotiation in a year.
Firefighters sought raises based off a cost-of-living index used by comparable departments in King County, but ended up getting raises based on the city's flat rate.
