Fall City resident poet Charlotte Noel has had a lifetime to put her Valley roots and hometown stories into words. Now, she's sharing them with the community.

On Aug. 1, Noel published her first book of poetry, "Simplicity of Poem," with Baltimore-based PublishAmerica. The book, 12 chapters of poetry on themes of love, heartbreak, faith, work and the seasons, collects her works over the past 22 years.

Simplicity of Poem can be purchased for $21.95 at the publisher's Web site, www.publishamerica.com, or at the Amazon.com online bookseller's Web site. Autographed and numbered books can also be bought from Noel for $30 to cover shipping and handling.
