Former congresswoman Jennifer Dunn dies

Former 8th District Congresswoman Jennifer Dunn died suddenly Wednesday, Sept. 5, after suffering a pulmonary embolism at her home in Alexandria, Va.

Dunn collapsed late Tuesday night. She was transported to a nearby hospital, but never regained consciousness. She was 66. Dunn is survived by her husband, Keith Thomson; two sons, Bryant Dunn and Reagan Dunn; stepson, Angus Thomson; and two grandchildren.
