Three men suspected of holding up a jewelry courier at a McDonald's restaurant near Bellevue were arrested Thursday morning after police followed their car to Snoqualmie.
Bellevue Police Department Spokesman Greg Grannis said the case will likely become a federal investigation.
At 9:40 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, a jewelry courier told police that he was robbed at gunpoint by three men, who then drove away. He provided a description of the suspects and their vehicle.
A Bellevue officer spotted the suspects' car near I-90 and followed them eastbound on the freeway.
Bellevue and Issaquah police units moved in and stopped the vehicle near Exit 27 with help from Snoqualmie police. All three suspects were taken into custody without incident. The men were not identified by law enforcement.
