Valley floral shop part of national TV show

Down to Earth Flowers and Gifts in Snoqualmie donated more than 30 custom floral arrangements and plants to decorate the new home for the Chapin family.

The florists were one of the many participants in the make-over of a Kirkland home for the popular ABC reality television show "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," when the show rebuilt the home of a family in need.

Down to Earth co-owner Maggi Whitaker donated more than $2,500 in flowers to the show.

"It was a lot of fun," Whitaker said.
