Man stabs passenger, chase leads to Valley

A high-speed chase on Interstate 90 ended near the Highway 18 exit Friday with the arrest of a California man who allegedly stabbed a passenger in his vehicle, then hijacked another car.

Police Tased the man, who still wielded a knife after Washington State Troopers forced the stolen car into a snow bank, said Washington State Patrol spokesman Jeff Merrill.

The stabbing victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he was listed in critical condition.
