Road closes for roundabout work

Starting this week, Cedar Falls Way between North Bend Way and Mountain View Drive is closed to all traffic as crews begin the construction of a roundabout at the intersection of North Bend Way and Cedar Falls Way.

Public Works Director Ron Garrow expected the closure to last about three months. In the meantime, he asked drivers to use 424th Avenue Southeast or 432nd Avenue Southeast to get between North Bend Way and Cedar Falls Way.

Garrow reminded residents to drive with particular caution on 424th Avenue Southeast, as there is a daycare on that street.

The roundabout will be North Bend's second. The first one is located at Exit 31 of Interstate 90.
