October 2, 2008 · Updated 5:48 PM
An unoccupied fifth wheel trailer went up in flames in a Preston campground on Monday, Sept. 8.
The blaze, under investigation by the King County Fire Marshal, was reported at about 10:30 a.m. at the 90 block of 308th Avenue, in the Blue Sky RV Park.
The trailer that burned was a total loss, and the fire also damaged an adjacent trailer, Eastside Fire and Rescue Battalion Chief Greg Tryon said. The fire was reported by members of a construction crew at the site. Units from EFR and Fall City fire districts responded.
