A collision involving a semi-truck and a dump truck on Snoqualmie Parkway shut down that arterial for hours Tuesday morning, August 5.

The crash happened at the corner of Snoqualmie Parkway and SE 99th Street. Crews responded just before 8 a.m. and worked on the scene until 12 p.m.

According to Snoqualmie Police, the semi-truck was coming out of SE 99th Street, heading south onto Snoqualmie Parkway when it collided with the dump truck also heading south on Snoqualmie Parkway. The crash blocked traffic in both directions.

Fire Chief Mark Correira said the semi-truck driver was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Additionally, crews cleaned up a fuel leak from one of the trucks.

All Snoqualmie Parkway lanes are now open.
