River Street to close on one block, Monday

On Monday, July 7, Southeast River Street in Snoqualmie, between Railroad and Maple Avenues, will be temporarily closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. due to an installation of storm water catch basins and pipe crossings.

People will still be able to visit the businesses and the Snoqualmie United Methodist Church on River Street, and Railroad Avenue, will continue to have two-way traffic.

There will be street closure and detour signs to alert the public.

This construction is part of the Downtown Infrastructure and Improvement Project – Phase 2A. The project supports Snoqualmie’s downtown revitalization efforts.
