Police and fire agencies in the Snoqualmie Valley responded to the following calls:

North Bend Police

Tuesday, Dec. 24

Cart rage: At 2:25 p.m., police were called to a store in the 400 block of East North Bend Way, where a man reportedly rammed a shopping cart into items inside the store. The man apparently lost his temper after entering the store. Employees cornered him, until police arrived and removed the man, banning him from the store for one year.

Saturday, Dec. 21

Attempted burglary: At 1:58 p.m., a business in the 400 block of East North Bend Way reported an attempted burglary. Someone used two tools in an attempt to get past the lock on the front door. After failing to get into the store, the suspect(s) left the scene, leaving the tools behind. The tools were sent for fingerprinting.

Friday, Dec. 20

DUI patrols: At 9:50 and 10:01 p.m., officers patrolling Southwest Mount Si Boulevard for intoxicated drivers found two people who had suspended licenses.

Court order: At 3:35 p.m., a woman in the 700 block of Thrasher Avenue Northeast reported that her son was violating his court order by coming to her home. Then, he created a disturbance by driving donuts in the street in front of the home. He’s had a court order prohibiting contact with his parents since an argument November 4.

Tuesday, Dec. 23

Dizziness: At 5:34 a.m., Fall City firefighters were called to the 33500 block of Southeast Redmond-Fall City Road for a 76-year-old man who was suffering from dizziness. The crew treated the man and left him in his home.

Monday, Dec. 23

Cardiac arrest: At 6:06 a.m. Fall City firefighters were called to the 31700 block of Southeast Issaquah-Fall City Road, where a 59-year-old man was in cardiac arrest. Firefighters started CPR, but despite all efforts, they could not revive the man.

Sunday, Dec. 22

Fire: At 6:55 a.m., Fall City firefighters responded to a report of a structure fire, in the 34900 block of Douglas Street. The crew assisted in removing smoke and water from the building.

Confusion: At 12:36 p.m., Fall City Fire received a report of a 76-year-old man who appeared confused in the 1500 block of Snoqualmie River Road Southeast. Firefighters evaluated and treated the man, and took him to a nearby hospital in the Fall City aid car.

Saturday, Dec. 21

Cardiac arrest: At 4:26 p.m., Fall City firefighters were called to the 4500 block of 332nd Avenue Southeast, where a 74-year-old man was experiencing cardiac arrest. The crew initiated CPR, but could not revive the man.

Racing heart: At 1:13 p.m., firefighters responded to the 33100 block of 44th Street for a report of 90-year-old woman experiencing a rapid heart rate. The woman was evaluated, treated, and transported to a nearby hospital in the Fall City aid car.

Fall, breathing trouble: At 12:16 a.m., Fall City firefighters responded to the 4900 block of 335th Place Southeast for two patients needing aid. One patient was having difficulty breathing. Another had fallen required help. Firefighters examined both patients, and sent one to a local hospital in the Fall City aid car.
