Preston-Fall City Road to be shut down for five days

The Preston-Fall City Road will be closed for emergency repairs over five days, July 8 to 12, reports King County.

Deteriorating road conditions, specifically groundwater near the roadway that has caused the drainage system and edge of the roadway to settle and sink.

Next week, road crews will replace the damaged drainage system. A culvert will be replaced at the 7600 block of Southeast Preston-Fall City Road.
