Get ready for Flag Day: Banner retirement ceremony is Thursday at Vets Park

Snoqualmie Valley American Legion Post No. 79 will hold a flag retirement ceremony, 7 p.m. Thursday, June 13, at Veterans’ Memorial Park, 38625 S.E. River St., in downtown Snoqualmie, next to the Legion Hall and across the street from City Hall.

The public is invited to observe this ceremony,  in which worn American flags are retired with honor. It will be conducted by members of the Valley’s Legion Post and local Boy Scouts. All visitors are welcome.

The ceremony precedes Flag Day on Friday, June 14.
