October 2, 2008 · Updated 6:05 PM
North Bend teen Marika Loudenback is planning to donate her hair to help make wigs for cancer patients, and shes hoping other Valley residents will do the same at Relay for Life.
Pantene has partnered with The American Cancer Society to provide free real hair wigs to women who lose their hair while undergoing cancer treatment.
Hair donations must be at least eight inches long. More information is online at www.beautifullengths.com.
Organizers are looking for hair donors as well as stylists to cut hair at Relay, which will be held July 12 to 13 at Centennial Fields in Snoqualmie. Contact Marika Loudenback at clouden8@comcast.net if you would like to help.
