A full house joined city officials, plus county and state representatives Sunday, Jan. 6, for the city of Duvall's 100th birthday party.
The city, founded Jan. 6, 1913, grew up around the hillside homesteaded by logging brothers Francis and James Duvall.
The party kicking off Duvall's 100th year included birthday cake, performances by the River Winds Band, the Cedarcrest Drill Team, several other local bands, and historic skits by costumed actors from Cascade Community Theater. Children's games and a variety of booths to visit rounded out the event.
