Tribe Fund: Snoqualmie Tribe taking grant requests for charities through Jan. 31

The Snoqualmie Tribe Fund is accepting applications from local charitable organizations for grant help.

The Tribe Fund has donated more than $2 million in the last three years to organizations working in various issues and areas, including arts and culture, community development, education, the environment and health and social services.

Developments supported by donations from the Snoqualmie Tribe Fund include the University of Washington’s House of Knowledge, Woodland Park Zoo’s More Wonder More Wild exhibit and King County Conservation District’s Cherry Creek restoration project.

The winter deadline for applications is Thursday, Jan. 31.

All applying organizations must have proof of nonprofit status and be located within this state.
