KNDO-TV in Yakima reports that the Washington State Troopers are looking into a highway accident last weekend on the summit of Snoqualmie Pass that killed a North Bend tow truck driver.

The accident happened on Sunday afternoon, according to Washington State Trooper reports. A North Bend man, Jason Halstead, died when he was helping a Bonney Lake man, 28, whose pickup was stuck in snow on the shoulder of Interstate 90.

A Newcastle man driving past in the left lane lost control, slid across all lanes, hit the pickup and struck the driver, killing him.

No one else was injured.
