Student summer activity is topic of Chief Kanim MS lunch gathering

Involvement in positive activities is one way to protect youth from substance use and other risky behaviors. Groups that offer activities for middle school youth can spread the word and give kids the opportunity to learn about what’s available in the area, at a lunch gathering on Wednesday, May 28 at Chief Kanim Middle School, 32627 SE Redmond-Fall City Road in Fall City.

Activity coordinators, both from within the school and from community-based groups, are welcome.

Groups should bring copies of a flyer or handout with contact information to hand out to students, along with scholarship information for their program. Flyers or handouts must be approved by the district in advance of participation.

To participate, contact Ray Wilson before Saturday, May 10 by calling (425) 831-8225 or e-mail to wilsonr1@svsd410.org.
