The Snoqualmie Valley Track Club hosts all-comers track meets for Valley youth, ages two to 17, on several Sundays this spring at Chief Kanim Middle School and Mount Si High School.

Track meets are 2 to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 27 and Sunday, May 11 at Chief Kanim Middle School. Track meets will also be held 2 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, May 4 and Sunday, May 11 at Mount Si High School.

All participants receive ribbons and compete in a wide variety of age group events. The meets are free of charge and parents are encouraged to assist in volunteering at events.

Also gearing up is the Junior Wildcat Track program, a competitive summer program for children that begins June 3 at Mount Si High School.

The Junior Wildcat Track program requires a fee and the athletes will compete in five area track and field meets. Practices are 5:30 to 7 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday at Mount Si High School. For more information about the All-Comers Sunday meets or the Junior Wildcat Program, call Kirk Dunckel at (425) 831-8229 or e-mail to dunckelk@svsd410.org.
