Gunshots stir Snoqualmie neighborhood; Woman, 61, booked into jail

Shortly after 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 14, Snoqualmie police officers responded to numerous 911 calls reporting gun shots in the downtown area.
According to police reports, officers arrived on scene and immediately heard additional shots being fired in the 8500 block of Falls Avenue Southeast. The King County Sheriff’s Office assisted with blocking off streets and worked with Snoqualmie officers to determine the origin of the shooting.
A 61 year-old Snoqualmie resident was located in her driveway with a handgun. After several attempts to gain her compliance, she dropped the handgun. She was taken into custody and later booked into the King County Jail on several charges. The residence is secured and a search warrant has been requested.
There were no injuries as a result of this shooting. The cause of the firearm discharge is unknown.
