School begins in the Valley, starting Wednesday

The first day of school in Snoqualmie Valley School District for students in grades 1-12 is Wednesday, Aug. 29. There is no school on Labor Day, Monday, September 3.
The first day of Kindergarten and preschool is Tuesday, Sept. 4.
In the Riverview School District, classes begin on September 4.

Free, reduced lunches
Families who would like free or reduced-cost meals provided for their children during the school day should apply for the program in September. Applications are available at all SVSD schools, and the district office in Snoqualmie, and online.
