Snoqualmie Valley Alliance Church takes service to school grounds Sunday

August 24, 2012 · 4:07 PM

Snoqualmie Valley Alliance Church will not hold regular service Sunday, Aug. 26, but will instead send members into the community to serve.

Church members will do back-to-school clean-up projects on the grounds of Fall City, Cascade View, and North Bend Elementary Schools. They invite the community to join them in weeding, pruning, and laying down bark, from 10 a.m. to noon.

The clean-up is a coordinated effort with the school district and the schools' PTSA groups. The church will provide snacks and water during the day.
