New Snoqualmie Police Chief Steve McCulley is sworn in Monday, July 30, by Mayor Matt Larson. McCulley, who plans to build the department's links with schools and continue its emphasis on community outreach, was hired as captain from the Washington State Patrol and handpicked to replace the retiring, long-serving Jim Schaffer.

Monday evening is your opportunity to meet Snoqualmie’s new Police Chief, Steve McCulley.

Chief McCulley will be available for visits with citizens from 6 to 6:45 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13, at City Hall Council Chambers, prior to the night's council meeting.

He is looking forward to meeting residents and business owners.

Light refreshments will be served.
