Redeman takes cultural training with ROTC

July 31, 2012 · 12:32 PM

Army ROTC cadet and Mount Si graduate David H. Redemann took Cadet Language and Cultural Immersion Training.

After training at Fort Knox, Ky., cadets are deployed to partner nations where they are immersed in the local cultures and languages. Redeman will spend three weeks involved in assisting with current Army missions that range from helping build community projects to teaching English to local children. The aim of the program is both  a total immersion in another culture, and the building of positive relationships and helping people of partner nations.

Redemann is a student at Ripon College, Wisc., and is the son of David and Kori Redemann of North Bend. He graduated in 2010 from Mount Si High School, Snoqualmie.
