Bear-proof bins are coming to city, Waste Management says

Waste Management is taking orders for 96-gallon bear-proof containers. As of last week, 10 bins had been ordered. Containers are arriving and are being delivered this week.
The company is also looking into providing 64-gallon containers.
The company that produces the product is still testing them, and they should be ready in approximately three months.
There is an extra charge for bear proof containers, about $3 a month.
