Lone man robs Chase Bank in North Bend

Chase Bank in North Bend was robbed Friday night, July 6, by a lone suspect. Details of the case are not being released during the investigation, which is being conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the King County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Task Force.

The incident occurred at 6:50 p.m. A white man robbed the bank and left in a red SUV, according to a preliminary report from North Bend Police Chief Mark Toner. No one was injured during the robbery.

Chase Bank representatives could not comment on the case, nor could Sheriff's Office personnel or FBI staff. More information may be released when investigators determine whether state or federal charges will be filed, according to Seattle FBI spokesperson Ayn Dietrich.
