April 12, 2012 · 12:21 PM
He's never been here before. He may never come again.
But for one night, the top man of the Loyal Order of Moose, Supreme Governor Wes Crowder, hailing from Moose International headquarters in Chicago, will grace the halls of Snoqualmie Valley Moose lodge in North Bend.
"This is a first," says Len Snyder," administrator of the local order. North Bend was one of four lodges that Crowder chose to visit in Washington. He is the first Supreme Governor in the local organization's 80-plus-year history to visit.
A membership dinner and social hour begins at 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 17. Dinner is at 6 p.m.
There will be presentations, awards, and special guests from Encompass, the Washington State Patrol, and local firefighters.
The North Bend lodge is located at 108 Sydney Avenue, behind Sawan Thai.
Crowder is expected to recognize the local Moose lodge for its membership gains in the last year.
Snoqualmie Valley Moose have waived their initiation fee through April 30.
